Radishes.
Boy I hope I never pull another radish as long as I live! Monday Gwen and I spent the whole day pulling radishes! Now we didn't grow the radishes, there is a garden, "Neil's", that is about a 3 minute car drive from our house. Whenever they have produce that isn't selling they let us come and pick it. (example: in february we had a hard freeze that ruined all the lettuce they didn't pick or cover up, which was a lot. Well people don't want to eat frost bitten lettuce but all our animals loved it). They recently had too many radishes. Three rows too many. They were going to rototill them up and plant something new but they asked us if we wanted them. We said of course! So Gwen and I took on the daunting task of harvesting them. It was long, tedious, hot work but we did it. We filled her truck up TWICE and that wasn't even a whole rows worth! Needless to say it was a lot of work but all the animals loved them. They were completely gone within three days!

Now the moral of this story is when you are going to go pull radishes make sure you bring gloves!
