Lil' Shell

I got a picture and a video of this little girl before my camera decided to wig-out...

This is a picture of Lil' Shell :) She is a six month old Red Kangaroo. She is also my roommate! I have the amazing opportunity of raising this little girl! She is the cutest thing :) She keeps me busy and on my toes. I feed her about every two hours including at night, yuck, but she is the sweetest thing, she just love attention and be held.

I felt so loved when Gwen told me that they were naming her Michelle (I call her Lil' Shell)! They said it would keep a part of me here after I leave. I love it here. I love the people and I am dreading the day that I have to leave.

this took forever... but here's the Houston zoo

o boy this took forever! Not necessarily the post but trying to get the pictures off my camera onto the computer. My camera decided to spaz about a week ago, I still don't know what's wrong with it. But it will turn on just long enough to download a picture or two. I down loaded all 316 pictures pretty much one by one! And it didn't help that the computer I am using is a MAC which I've never used on before but I think I have it figured out.

A couple weeks ago Kim, the girl that is "over" me, took me to the Houston Zoo! We got a behind-the-sense tour of all the animals and such! I'm sad to say that I didn't take too many pictures I was too interested in everything to remember I had my camera in my hand :) but it was amazing! so many cool animals! It was a lot bigger than the Hoogle Zoo.

You know on the movie "Madagascar" how they say the "fossa, the fossa are coming." and then the animal comes and it looks like a messed up lion or something... well this is a for-real fossa!

Sorry...

I've been a slacker at blogging! I have been wanting to post more but I haven't found the time! Life's been crazy busy! I have a lot of things on my plate that need my attention more than blogging does :) I do have a boat load of pictures to upload but my camera is broken at the moment...

But I just wanted to let you all know that I am alive, happy and loving life!
