lost and forgotten

I found a wonderful surprise today. About a year and a half ago I had a little kangaroo Joey, Shell,  who I absolutely loved. She lived upstairs with me and we had a special bond. She died last May. There were definitely some tears shed. We sent her to Texas A&M to get a necropsy done to see what she had died from, but while at A&M they made a clay disk with her paw prints. I knew that they had done it but I didn't see the prints until August last year. Gwen said that she was going to send it in the mail to me but life happens, she forgot and I forgot too. Well yesterday when cleaning upstairs I came across a strange little box. I opened it to find this little treasure in it! I'm happy to say that this is now one of my "keep forever items" and  is proudly sitting on display in my room.
