Autumn... what a wonderful time of year! it is beautiful outside, the weather is perfect, and you get a break from school. (well not really a break... a day off)
Thursday morning, after classes, i drove an hour and a half to Kaysville Utah to pick up my cousins! My Aunt and Uncle left for a vacation in Mexico, and i was watching the children!
I was so excited to be tending them, but i was also a little nervous. i was in charge of 3 kids for 4 days! i was to entertain them, feed them, keep them safe, and make sure they didn't destroy the house! All of my anxiety flew away as soon as i walked in the door, i was greeted with big hugs and loud yells of excitement for the upcoming days!
We had so much fun together! going on bike rides, teaching them jump rope, cooking dinner together, coloring, going to the park, having a game night consisting of Life, Candyland, Memory, Nines, and my favorite Monopoly. We went to Chuck E Cheese, they helped me with my homework, we had a spa night, i taught them how to make paper airplanes we decorated them and then had a paper airplane war, watched movies, and of course we were always jammin out to some Disney and Taylor Swift!
All in all it was a wonderful fall break!! i hope they had as much fun as i did :)
